the textbook for all future courses and is available on our website.
We have revamped the SLAM Express (SLAM Airway Provider Course) to cover the first 8 chapters of the
book with 10 hours of lecture and hands-on to include our renowned pig-cricothyrotomy workshop.

The Human Airway
Cadaver Lab covers:
Simple
techniques to overcome failed intubation
Rescue ventilation utilizing FDA approved supraglottic airway devices
Videolaryngoscopy
Needle cricothyrotomy
Lectures are covered in hours 1 through 4. In hours 5 through 10 the
hands-on portion is presented to include a cricothyrotomy workshop using pig laryngeal-tracheal segments. A written
test is also taken by each attendee. Participants receive a certificate of completion and a SLAM Airway Provider Card
(good for two years).
Cost: $500.00 includes:
the SLAM textbook, Lectures, Hands-on, and Pig Cricothyrotomy lab and *cadaver lab.
These courses will be held at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in
Fort Worth unless otherwise specified. The projected schedule primarily lists UNT at Fort Worth, but other
cities will be added based on your requests. We have listed local hotels for our Fort Worth classes.
